Dr. Jonathan Piccini from Duke University Medical Center described a novel nasal medication which could be of major benefit to A-Fib patients suffering from rapid heart rate Rapid Ventricular Rate (RVR).
It works in only 7 minutes. It slows the heart rate and is administered by the patient themselves outside of a health care facility (such as at home).
