2025 AF Symposium
Video: The Genesis of the AF Symposium
with Drs. Jeremy N. Ruskin, Luigi Di Biase
The AF Symposium is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2025. The following three short videos give insight into its development, purpose and achievements.
The videos are hosted by Dr Luigi Di Biase, Editor-in-Chief of the Arrhythmia Academy, (Albert Einstein College of Medicine, US) who interviews founding director of the AF Symposium, Dr Jeremy Ruskin (Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA, US).
The annual AF Symposium features live EP lab/operating room patient procedure cases, late-breaking data and up-to-date presentations related to the treatment of atrial fibrillation.
Via video conferencing, Dr Luigi Di Biase and Dr Jeremy Ruskin discuss:
- The history of the AF Symposium (started in 1995);
- A-Fib research and the role of mentors in the development of young electrophysiologists;
- The logistics of live patient procedure cases at large-scale cardiology events.
