Disclosure: Medtronic Education Grant 2014: In October 2014, A-Fib.com received a “no strings attached” charitable grant from Medtronic to create a database from Medicare data, organized by US state, of EPs with their yearly volume of PVIs. We will publish this database on A-Fib.com as a free service to our readers.
Update 9/25/18: We apologize to our readers that currently we haven’t been able to complete the database of EPs with their yearly volume of PVIs. It turned out to be a huge, very demanding project which we currently don’t have the resources to complete. We have preliminary [now older] data on Florida.
Medtronic Educational Grant 2011: In late 2011, A-Fib.com applied for and received a $10K educational grant from Medtronic. This ‘no strings attached’ charitable contribution was used to upgrade the technical foundation of our aging website and expand the content offerings to A-Fib patients and their families. After many, many months of work, the ‘new’ A-Fib.com website went ‘live’ in December 2012.
