Our approach is tailored for each patient. We usually do the pulmonary veins for paroxysmal patients and then a stepwise approach for second ablations and for persistent patients. We use both ESI and CARTO mapping systems, irrigated tip catheters, intracardiac echocardiography, cryoballoon technology and CT imaging. We have participated in recent clinical trials involving antiarrhythmic drugs, and we are participants in left atrial appendage occlusion device studies. We also provide quarterly question and answer sessions to the public about atrial fibrillation.
